Tualatin Parks

The Tualatin area is full of parks, trails, and nature areas – over 200 acres to be exact! Each park is open from sunrise to sunset and is specially designed to promote and support the interests of children and teens. Park signage is a learning tool to educate visitors on Tualatin’s past and area wildlife. If you’re looking for recreation, relaxation, fitness, fun or education, look no further than Tualatin parks.

Check out the Park Sites page for a full list of Tualatin area parks and locations.

Tualatin Crawfish Festival

The first Tualatin Crawfish Festival took place over 60 years ago and has become a fun annual tradition in year’s since. In 1951, crawfish had over populated the Tualatin River, which led to the idea of holding a Crawfish Festival. This even becomes increasingly popular each year with an average of 12,000 attendees. The festival has fun for the whole family, including the Crawfish Crawl (Half Marathon/5K/Relay races), kids activities, fireworks, games, live music, food, beer, and plenty of crawfish. The Tualatin Crawfish Festival takes place next week on August 4-5 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The regatta is a zany series of races in boats made out of – get this – giant pumpkins! This event, which has become known as Oregon’s best October event, takes place on October 21st and admission is free.
