The EnergySpark home loan is one of the greenest home loans offered by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC). The EnergySpark home loan is a type of Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM), which helps home buyers save energy and money when they buy a home.

Owning an energy-efficient home helps cut costs on utility bills and increases the resale value of your home. With the EnergySpark home loan program, borrowers have the additional benefit of being able to save .25% percent on their interest rate* and still be able to qualify for down payment assistance. EnergySpark works in conjunction with the Home Advantage loan and down payment assistance program.
