Klineline Kids Fishing Derby – April 7-8
The annual Klineline Kids Fishing Derby is a fun, nonprofit fishing event that invites kids of all ages and abilities to Salmon Creek Park in Vancouver to learn about fishing, water safety, and natural resources. Friday’s fishing derby is a day for children with special needs who have an interest in fishing and the outdoors. The event has a host of activities, including fishing contests, archery, and educational kiosks.
 
Spokane Vintage Swing Festival – April 7-8
The Spokane Vintage Swing Festival and Lindy Exchange is a weekend long event full of music dancing, and performances inspired by the Jazz, Big Band and Post-WWII eras. The weekend includes a pin-up photo contest, concerts, parties, special memorabilia, and more.
 
Rabbit Romp – April 15
Celebrate Easter at the Oregon Zoo’s Rabbit Romp. This popular egg hunt is for children 10 and under and is free with zoo admission. The event also includes an animal petting zoo at the Family Farm, bunny crafts, games, and great photo opportunities.
 
Woodland Tulip Festival – April 15-23
April is a great time to visit the Holland America Flower Gardens for the Woodland Tulip Festival. The farm’s fields are full of beautifully colored tulips which make for great photo opportunities or just a fun way to get out and enjoy a nice walk. The festival also offers a vendor market, food, activities for kids, u-pick fields, and much more.
 
Earth Day Fair – April 22
Enjoy the Oregon Garden on Earth Day – the only day of the year for free admission! The Garden has fun educational activities planned around the Earth Day event, not to mention plenty of local food vendors and entertainment.
 
SOLVE IT for Earth Day – April 22
Give back to your planet this Earth Day by joining SOLVE (Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism) and volunteering around the state of Oregon. SOLVE IT for Earth Day has grown to be the state’s largest Earth Day event with over 112,000 participants. EarthDay Spokane – April 22-23
This year marks Spokane’s fifth annual EarthDay Festival. The event features sustainable art and artists, performers, food, beer garden, and much more. This grassroots-style festival celebrates the diversity in the Spokane community and allows people of all walks of life to come together and celebrate their appreciation of the earth.
 
Lilac Days – April 22-May 14
Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens are the host of Lilac Days, created to celebrate the springtime bloom of lilacs and Hulda’s accomplishments in developing and growing lilacs. Visit the Klager’s Victorian era home, stroll through the gardens, purchase your own lilacs to bring home or shop in the gift shop.

 
Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival – April 28-30
The Astoria Warrenton Crab Seafood & Wine Festival celebrates it’s 35th year with exceptional seafood, arts and crafts, wine, and more. This popular, award-winning event draws close to 16,000 people each year. Don’t miss the results of the wine competition or the crab dinner hosted by the Astoria Rotary Club!
 
Oregon Ag Fest – April 29-30
Experience the world of Oregon agriculture at the Oregon Ag Fest! The Ag Fest helps kids and families learn and understand where their food, plants, and goods come from.
